You know as a mum that nearly everything you do will not be quite right.
This game has changed all that, my 13 year old son loves it and has rated it a 5 star.
The delivery service was also first rate with the game arriving overnight.

Firstly, I'd just like to start off by saying that I am a grown man who should know better. My reviews are unbiased and hopefully useful to fellow novices.
I bought this game cheap thinking this would be my first way into MX racing games. I had never played one at all.
Whilst sat at my desk at work that day I read reviews of this game hoping to get an idea of what it would be like to play when I got home. The reviews were, generally, not very good. A lot of people pointed out problems with it and it really made me fear the worst.
Alas, when I got it home and loaded it up I was very surprised. It's a GOOD game.
1) Okay, the loading screen takes a little while, but so what? It's not THAT long and the quality of the game is worth it.
2) The graphics are great. Detailed, smooth.
3) The sound is superb (both music and FX) - and for those who don't like it, just reduce / turn it off with the Control menu.
4) The animation is good - the majority is realistic, with a the odd bit of over-egged animation during crashes - but it's a GAME and therefore we have to enjoy the dramatic dismounts (better that it's on a PS2 than in real life!)
5) Controls are easy to use - allowing you to focus on riding / having fun, rather than being frustrated with complex buttons etc.
6) The races are great and close. Other riders are quick, but once you've practiced, you should be ble to beat them. If you need more practice at a certain track, just select 'Restart Race' from menu before you cross the finish line.
7) The courses are all varied and exciting. Good range of jumps and fast flat-out sections. Good sense of height and speed, respectively.
8) Useful hints whilst loading. Waiting time is about 20 / 30 seconds, I guestimate. Certainly nothing to get upset about.
9) Ways back on to track if you mess up a jump and fly off your intended route. It's good to be allowed ways back onto track without crashing - protects your 'lead' time.
10) For less than £10, this is a great game. no messing. Maybe there are other games out there that will beat this. I'm sure I will find them, as this game (MX World Tour) has got me hooked. Even now I am a grown man waiting to go home to play it! Sad. But true. next on the list to check out is MX 2002. Will review that in due course.
