Bought this for 10yr son's birthday. Loves this game as one of best for playstation (usually played racing/football/adventure). Worth having two controllers as friends/sister can play along together. Despite other reviews song choice is good and they soon mastered the basics and moving up levels. Hours of challenge and entertainment - best impulse buy made!

I now have a new found admiration for Axl Rose and other rock guitarists. Great fun - especially for the first few days when you can beat your 11yr old son, after that the novelty wears off a bit as they get the hang of the game and beat you every time - even when you're still on the easy level and they're playing like Hendrix.
Banning them from having any sugar for a day or two slows kids down though - try it you might win again.

I love Guitar Hero and this is by far my favourite of the series. It has in my opinion got the best playlist so far including, The Killers, Rolling Stones, Sex Pistols and guns 'n' Roses. I love that you can play as Slash in this game too, the battles are really fun and can take a few tries to actually win. Brilliant game in a brilliant series.
