| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.co.uk Review If you’ve been concerned that the new generation of consoles has had relatively little in the way of new ideas, then LittleBigPlanet should be the game to restore you faith. It’s difficult to describe properly, which is a good thing, because it means it’s very different from the norm. Peculiar machines like this are the norm in LittleBigPlanet | Although combat is a minor part of the game, there are some huge bosses | Creating your own levels from scratch is as easy as playing them | Objects can be made out of anything from wood to sponge, metal, and felt | Amazing graphics bring the world of the main character, known as Sackboy, and his fabric-coated pals to life with realistic physics and a stunning level of detail. Played with friends it’s a great puzzle adventure, as you co-operate and compete across each level. The game’s trump card though is its customisation, not just the characters themselves but the whole game. It’s extremely easy to create your own levels, and the best fun is had simply setting up areas for mucking around and then sharing them online with other people. Key Features - Unreal reality: There’s never been a game that looks like this, with ultra cute characters but realistically modelled physics and materials from wood to sponge.
- Co-op fun: Co-operate with up to three friends, as you run, jump, and swing around each level and overcome the cunning puzzles and dangerous enemies.
- Everything changes: Every single element of the game is fully customisable from your player character to each of the levels and all of the objects within them.
- Mad scientist: Create your own unique levels and change the properties of any objects to make Sackboy mincing traps or huge machines that can move whole levels.
- Eye see you: Use the EyeToy camera to further customise your game with special stickers that allow you to add your own photos to any level.
About the Developer: Media Molecule After working on games such as Black & White and Fable, a group of ex-Lionhead Studios employees formed Media Molecule. The Guildford-based studio rose to frame through the independently produced Rag Doll Kung Fu, but their first retail game is LittleBigPlanet.

| Customer Reviews: creative game, with a few hicups March 5, 2010 S. Weis Kind of creative, kind of fun, but the released game feels like a tutorial of how to use it. That's the most annoying thing. But hey, it's just some little fabric toys bouncing in a physics engin and a DLC shop.
Heyheyhey, it's not that bad. Throw in a second controler, and you have an evil tool to get your girl into playing. It's addictive. I saw it.
That or the also excellent Lego Games.
If you run out of levels, throw up the community levels, or open the editor.
Yes, Editor. It's a sandbox, in 2D and you have to use a big chunk of imagination to get the feeling of a level right. Using it to put an obstacle between you and a target is easy. Making it feel enjoyable is a whole other world. The community browser has some issues, to get some levels that are fun can be tiresome. And some levels get removed quickly due to copyright issues.
Another thing you can do with it, is do some awesome slideshows or presentations for friends. Show them 200 pictures while telling what happened = boring. Give them a controler and a minute to get used to the controls and let them run around = endless enjoyment.
Lots of pleasure for the grandchildren & grandad February 23, 2010 M. Howe (suffolk, England) guaranteed pleasure for young & old alike.
When it's all getting a little too hectic with the children resort to blackmail & the promise of a play on this little beauty of a game.
Little Big Planet February 17, 2010 Anna Pettigrew I bought this game for my grandkids and they all love it even the three year old would play it all day if she was allowed
Like a blueberry muffin full of creamy fun ! February 13, 2010 Daniel P. Johannsson (Iceland) Got some time to kill and ready for a laugh ?
Want to be able to get your girlfriend to join you in a computer game ?
Play online with friends and/or complete strangers from around the globe ?
Create your own levels where your imagination is almost the only limit ?
And share your level with the community and play other user created contents ?
Then you should seriously think about getting this game... now !
Me and my girlfriend have had countless fun hours filled with laughter and suspense
after we got this game.
It's amazingly fun and easy to learn to play, but yet challenging at some points.
I honestly haven't had so much fun playing a platform game ever, and I've been playing
computer games for a long time.
You still reading this ?
Don't believe me and all the others who have given this game a 5 star review ?
Then download the demo and try it out !
The demo only gives you a drop of the action and fun you're going to have !
Seriously... a solid 5 (and that is a rare thing from me)
Brilliant! February 7, 2010 Nick P I bought the PS3 with this game as it we couldnt find many games that my 13 year old daughter would like to play, so i bought that for her.
My daughter loves it and thinks its funny how you have your own stuffed character (SackBoy) and collect stickers and clothes for your character to personalise him. The use for the stickers are for you Pod, you start there and decide wether you want to play level other people have created or your levels in the story. You use the stickers to stick them around your pod to make it look like your own. The levels are really creative and you never know what it is going to throw at you next. There is so much more to Little Big Planet to what they tell you. Brilliant game recommend it too all ages!
