Borderlands is a brilliant loot hunting title, one of the best out there at the moment, and at its very core Borderlands is a clever and addictive game. But it falls short in a lot of areas; in co-op the flaws will be easy to ignore, ...

Product Description
Borderlands sends up to four co-op players to the harsh frontier planet Pandora in search of a mysterious Alien Vault. Featuring unique first-person role-playing shooter gameplay, you'll customise your character as you explore and battle enemies in frantic first-person shooter combat. And what would a role-playing shooter be without loot? Borderlands groundbreaking content generation system creates a near endless variety of weapons and items to customise your character! Players can join and leave other players' games at any time, or choose to face the challenges of Borderlands alone. All these features combine with a deep, rich fiction and a bold art style to create a breathtaking experience that challenges the conventions of modern shooters... - Co-Op Design: Borderlands is built from the ground up to be an exciting, intuitive co-operative experience for up to four players simultaneously that rewards players who work together and invest in co-op skills. Split-screen is also supported.
- FPS Gameplay: In this role-playing shooter, choose one of four distinct characters, each with their own individual skill sets. As your character grows throughout this fast-paced FPS, you choose and customise your abilities to suit your style of play!
- Art Style: The distinctive art style combines traditional rendering techniques with hand-drawn textures to paint a bold and eye-catching spin on the FPS genre.
- Vehicular Combat: Jump behind the wheel and engage in high-speed vehicle-to-vehicle combat, complete with spectacular explosions and road-killed Skags!
- Frontier Planet: Search the wasteland planet of Pandora for the legendary Alien Vault. Fight your way through bandits, discover nine native (and aggressive) creatures, and help the few settlers on the planet in your search for a Vault rumoured to contain a great prize - if it even exists!

| Customer Reviews: Very Good Game! Im glad I got it June 30, 2010 Ryan Hill (Perth, Scotland) I'v seen the game on here for a while but I didn't buy it but I had some spare cash and decided just to buy it see what it was like. Well i can happily say im glad I did buy it!
I like the graphics they are more cartoon like that real life which is different but I think it give it something that other game of the same type dont and it dosnt make it any less fun.
I'm only about half way through the game so far and I cant get enough iv read some of the other low star reviews and people keep saying its no where near as good as Fallout iv never played fallout because it looks rubbish so maybe if you like fallout you wont like this game.
The guns are good better when you get a higher level and they have add ons like a chance to explode on enemies, set enemies on fire, poison them and shock them with all different kinds from hand gun's to RPG's! and you also get the same veriaty in gernades.
There was a comment about the enemies being way to high a level to kill which i dont find you just level up a bit and can take down the enemy's, Your mission board even tells you what level you should be for the mission with how it would be next to it e.g. Impossible, Tough, Average, Trivial ect.
The Map is huge with all different kinds of weird enemies from little cockroach type things to big flying flame terradactyl looking things!
All in all I am enjoying this game its different and it works!
This is my first review as well :)
Borderlands ps3 game May 15, 2010 James Wastell Great game, very cheap, not as good as fallout 3 but close enough.
Worth a go, might not be a classic, but a great shoot em up so far..
One of the best games of 2009 March 30, 2010 Abdullah Khalid (Stockholm, Sweden) This game is digital crack cocaine. i cannot praise it enough for the amazing fun it contains!
excellent gameplay and amazing art-direction is what helped make this game a hit despite it being released so soon to ModernWarfare2, arguably the biggest FPS of last year.
this game is a never ending well of fun (especially when playing with a friend, locally or online), and the expansions only help make it even more harder to leave it!
what a game March 28, 2010 this will keep you playing for days, weeks . cant put it down great levels and varied missions, takes a little wile for it to come to life but then its great 10 /10.
Great and addictive shooter! March 26, 2010 JG I had thought (much to my dismay) i had grown out of gaming, then i bought a PS3 mainly to play blu-rays on and thought, what the hell i'd get a game as well. I wasn't disappointed, Borderlands is great fun, not too easy or too difficult and you can pick it up and play it for a few minutes or a few hours! The 'levelling up' gives you a sense of achievment and makes the missions all the more enjoyable and the graphics are really rather cool. I would recommend!
Now time to try this Call of Duty game i keep hearing about :)
