I've choosed this game just because of the low price, I would have preferred Red Dead Redemption as a Far West game.
So I didn't expected too much from this title. Probably this is the reason why I liked to play this game: after a slow start the game became really interesting. It started to be very "westernish", and the story and gameplay grown fast. Ambientations are really good, and McCall Bros worth a play. Also game mechanics are interesting, such as duels or differences between brothers, that makes the game maybe a little longer (as you can choose which McCall to use in a chapter)
I haven't play yet RDR, but I can say that if you're looking for a Far West experience you can find it in CoJ:BiB

This is an amazing looking game with a really good sotryline and fun gameplay. The dules aren't too easy or too hard, the graphics are some of the best you'll see on the PS3, and I especially love the idea that it saves automatically every few minutes. This means you want have to worry about getting into a game, getting shot, then having to start over way before your current progress which can be a bit unnerving in Call Of Duty games. In Call Of Juarez you get to start right where you stopped (or was killed last). This keeps the gameplay fluid. There is a bit of cursing in this (just to be aware if buying for a kid). Overall this game is superb and well reccommended for good reason. BUY IT!

I like playing the 2nd world war/modern FPS games. To play a game with a good story line in a different period/setting is great.
If you love westerns, you will love this game.
Gives a good feeling for the period, starting of towards the end of the American Civil War.
Very addictive.
I hope there is a sequel.

At the price amazon are selling it for you'd be a fool not to get this game. i have always been a fan of the western theme and this game doesn't miss a beat. from the canyons to the ghost towns. also the game revolves heavily around the factor of indians which i thought was amazing. the story mode is outstanding and will leave you feeling very attached to both characters (you can choose who you play as so you can basically complete the game twice and play a completely different game). Also once you've completed the outstanding story mode you'll be left wanting more, which is where the amazing online games come in! SERIOUSLY, JUST BUY IT!

This game was o.k for about the first half an hour but quickly became a bore. The trouble is there are so many better games around at the moment and these are relatively cheap if you wait a little while from release date. This game would have have been great about 3 yrs ago, it just felt a bit dated.
The wild west theme is good idea but feel it could have been executed with more responsive control and updated graphics. If you see it in the bargain section/bin for a fiver or something then its maybe worth a blast, otherwise save your pennys for Modern Warfare (1 or 2 or even World At War)or anything else really.
