Let's be honest, if you buy this game, you already have a fair understanding of MMA and the UFC already.
This is a great looking game, the fighting is quality, very fluid controls and, like the real deal, knockouts can come at Any time.
Creating a fighter makes sense, by selecting two fighting styles for your character to utilise, although a little more depth could be added in a tweeking of the moves list.
The online mode is also excellent, with minimal connection errors, and great frame rates.
The only disappointing thing is the lack of depth to the career mode. It is just missing that little extra to make it a truely excellent game. Don't get me wrong, the game is amazing, it is just devoid of story which is uncommon from thq, who also make WWE Smackdown vs. Raw series.

Really good game. Large variety in strikes, submissions etc. Different fighters have different fight styles which is great. For this kind of money it is a must buy if you want to play now although it may be worth waiting a while for the new version to come out. Good range of fighters and all 5 weight classes have some good fighters. I would reccomend this game to anyone who likes UFC.
